Are you a Procrastinator

Do you wait to arrive at the airport for your flight to the VERY LAST MINUTE, hoping that the airlines let you on and don't close the darn doors on you?  Well think again folks.  In this day and age, the way security is and the airlines are always competing to maintain their on-time performances, those days of waiting till the last minute and clawing the airplane doors open with your hands and/or banging on the doors saying "LET ME IN" are gone.  The airlines DO NOT CARE that you have an important meeting that you must be at.  Their main concern is for safety and to get that airplane out on time.  I honestly believe that the e-ticket kiosks at the airport are programmed so that you can not sneak in just under the wire in regard to the airlines required check in times for domestic flights.

For those of you are tend to procrastinate, I can fully relate with you because I am one of those types too.  I highly recommend doing an online check in the night before your flight to give yourself a little wiggle room.  Plus, if you're flying on Southwest, you'll be able to get the -A- boarding card vs. the -C- one at the gate on day of departure.  There is a method to the madness so do whatever it takes to make your travel just a tad smoother.

Enterprise bidding to Merge

with two of the larger car companies, National and Alamo.  This will be interesting to see if this goes through, because Enterprise has proven time and time again what wonderful customer service they offer in general.  I really hope that the current employee's at these Alamo and National locations don't bring Enterprise down.  I hear complaints all the time, in regard to various locations where clients tell me, "I don't EVER want to rent from Alamo again" or "I won't rent from National at XXX airport ever again".   I don't recall ever getting any negative feedback from Enterprise.  About the only downside in regard to them over the past has been that you couldn't do a one way rental with them, but I've been hearing lately that that has been changing as well.  The way I see it, they are the next Southwest of car rental agencies.  They've been sneaking in behind the big players for quite some time and all I can say is "Go Enterprise"!!
