Corporate Traveller's: Please reserve your cars and hotels too

I can not stress how important it is that when you're making your travel arrangements that they be made all through the same source, especially if you are the type of traveller who tends to change frequently. I have heard time and time again how traveller's forgot to cancel their hotel reservation because their travel agent wasn't the one who reserved the room for them and the secretary got busy and forgot to cancel the room reservation when they made the cancellation request for the flights. Or, I have also heard stories where the hotel reservations where made by an associate or through a housing bureau, the flights were made by the travel agent and then the flights were changed by the agent, but the secretary or traveller forgot to make the change with the hotel. My suggestion is to have your travel agent handle the entire reservation; cars, hotels, flights etc. Even if it means that the travel agent needs to contact the hotel direct to confirm a negotiated rate for the traveller, that should be the responsibility and job of the travel agent to make sure that the passenger has all room nights accounted for and that the reservations are guaranteed for a late arrival. I wish that everyone's travel could go smoothly for them. So in the future, just think how much easier it would be to just have the agent do it all for you. That way you know it's being done properly and you get one complete itinerary with all puzzle pieces on one sheet of paper. Let me help you organize your travel.
